The ROIs of coaching research for you as a coach practitioner and entrepreneur

How doing or participating in coaching research can help you grow as a coach and strengthen your coaching business

Like in any field of discipline, it is evident that conducting research has an important role to play both in co-creating the credibility of the coaching industry and developing coaching as a profession. In participating in research or doing research yourself, you can grow as a coach, shape your coaching practice and boost your business.

The purpose of this session is to inspire coaches to engage in coaching research by having a dialogue about the tangible benefits and key ROIs of doing and/or participating in coaching research. With my guest Dr Grace Kew as an ICF member and research participant, I will discuss our experiences around the ROIs of conducting and participating in the comprehensive international VU-Ashridge-CWRU coaching presence research project. We will individually relate our experiences from a different perspective: mine in my role as the researcher and the coach’s in her role as the participant.
